Safety and Health Officer - S&S Quest

Advise the employer on safety, health & environmental issues affecting the company, employees and sub-contractors in terms of safety regulations and statutory obligations such as, but not limited to the Occupational Safety & Health Act, Factories & Machinery Act, Environmental Quality Act and other.
* To coordinate, implement and monitor all safety works at site.
* To conduct and prepare weekly Safety Inspection/Walk-About Checklist at site in order to identify hazards and propose corrective action plans.
* To monitor workers and sub-contractors i terms of daily project safety activities, safe work procedures and compliance to relevant safety regulations.
* To enforce on the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at site
* To conduct Weekly Toolbox Talks/Safety Briefings for workers at site.
* Participate in internal Occupational Safety and Health audit exercise.
* Lead occupational accident investigations exercise.

Experience Level : 5-10 years | > 10 years
Minimum Education : Required GREEN BOOK qualification is a must. * Registered NIOSH OFFICER under DOSH is an advantage. *
At least 5 years (s) of working experience in related fields
