KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 - Sapura Kencana Petroleum Berhad. has become the pride of the nation to emerge as the only Malaysian company that made it to the Forbes Asia Fabulous 50 list this year.
Forbes Asia said, Sapura Kencana, a leading provider of oil and gas support market capitalization is U.S. $6.8 billion of 18 regional participants for the first time in the list.
"A total of 18 of our first appear in the list. Four newcomers are from Hong Kong, including property developer Wharf (Holdings) and three casino company, SJM Holdings, Galaxy Entertainment Group and Melco Crown Entertainment.
"The others, including the Global Alliance Group Philippines, Ayala Corp. and Jollibee Foods, Sapura Kencana Petroleum Malaysia, Pegatron, Taiwanese computer hardware company and logistics company CWT Singapore," he said in a statement.
